Myth #1: “You can always see the difference between 0.00 and 0.07”
Verdict: BUSTED
In blind tests, only 9% of participants could correctly identify the 0.00 version
on non-bright skins. On 42 out of 50 skins — zero visible difference under normal
in-game conditions.

Best Float Sweet Spots by Skin Type
- Knives (Doppler, Fade, Marble) → 0.080 is max, phase matters 10x more
- Dark skins (Crimson Web, Case Hardened) → pay for <0.12 MW
- Bright skins (Asiimov, Dragon Lore) → 0.069 looks identical to 0.00

Is there really no visible difference between 0.00 and 0.069 float?
On 42 out of 50 tested skins — absolutely none under normal lighting. Only bright finishes show minimal edge wear above 0.08.
Is Minimal Wear (0.07–0.15) ever worth the premium?
Only on dark or pattern-heavy skins. On everything else you overpay 25–70% for zero visual improvement.
What is the real “sweet spot” float for best value?
